Heck Research Fellowship: Awarded for graduate research relating to Champagne and to “Methode Champenoise.” Knights of the Vine Scholarship: Awarded to graduate students in viticulture or enology. Horace O. Lanza Scholars: Research Fellowships awarded to viticulture graduate students. Harold P. Olmo Scholarship: Awarded to graduate or undergraduate students in viticulture. Orange County Wine Society Scholarship: Awarded to upper division students in enology or viticulture who intend to pursue a career in California at a bonded winery or for a commercial grape grower. Rossi Prize: Awarded to a student who graduated from a high school in the Napa Valley and is pursuing studies in viticulture or enology. Stephen Sinclair Scott Memorial Research Fellow: Awarded to a graduate student conducting research related to the clarity and stability of wines. Rusty Staub Endowed Fellowship: Awarded graduate students who are or were residents of New York. Mario P. Tribuno Memorial Research Fellow: Awarded to a graduate student conducting research on grape and wine aroma and flavors as affected by vineyard or winery treatment. ___ Women for Winesense, Sacramento Chapter: Awarded to to a registered undergraduate student in the Department of Viticulture & Enology with a GPA of 3.0 or better.. William J. Wiesner Memorial Scholarship: Awarded to outstanding students in viticulture and enology. Lynn A. Williams Memorial Award: Awarded to the student(s) receiving the highest grade in the Distilled Beverage Technology class. Wine Spectator California Research Fellowship: Awarded to outstanding graduate students in viticulture and enology. Wine Spectator California Scholarship: Awarded to outstanding students in viticulture and enology. Pearl and Albert J. Winkler Scholarship in Viticulture: Awarded to students who have stated the intention of entering the grape or wine industry with preference to undergraduate viticulture students.
